A remote radiator can solve airflow problems in a confined plant room, but it also adds pipework, coolant volume, static head, fan power, and commissioning checks. It should not be treated as a simple replacement for the set-mounted radiator.

Before quotation, the buyer should share the room drawing, radiator location, pipe route, height difference, ambient temperature, and whether the radiator fan power comes from the generator package or site distribution.
Pipework details that affect the package
- Vertical height between engine and radiator.
- Horizontal pipe route length and number of elbows.
- Pipe material, insulation, flexible connectors, and drain points.
- Expansion tank or header tank position.
- Coolant filling, venting, and maintenance access.
Common configuration mistakes
- The radiator is placed far from the generator without checking pump capability or pressure loss.
- Air release points are missing, so coolant filling becomes difficult during commissioning.
- Fan power, control signal, and protection are not assigned to either the generator supplier or site contractor.

For a clearer quotation, send the site country, voltage and frequency, duty rating, load list, installation layout, control interface requirements, noise or enclosure expectations, and any drawings already approved by the project engineer.
